Erik Laracuente : Videographer, Shooter

As a young man, Erik Laracuente was surrounded by exciting emerging technologies. One such creation was the handheld camcorder. Emerging as a sponsored Skateboarder, he quickly wound up with a camera in hand to document and capture the sport which would later become popularized by sports television broadcasting stations. His first academic passion was in Graphic Design and Communications and he spent a great deal of time working in the print medium. At the University of Florida, his interest in the time based medium of video and multimedia captivated him and he decided to abandon still graphics in favor of Electronic Intermedia. Erik Laracuente has had his video work shown in the film festival circuit, used as b-roll for nationally broadcast television, and used as marketing materials by several companies. With his work experience ranging from video surveillance to television camera operation and post-production editing, Erik's talents are well rounded and refined, yet progressive.

Erik Laracuente has shot video used in many different avenues. His video has been aired on CourtTV, HGTV, and several leased access stations around the country. His client list includes the Florida RV Association, First Advantage Investigative Services, the TV Host Builder's Showcase, On Point Supply, Heckler and Koch, MagLULA Ltd., Carpet One, Lighting One, Ferguson Enterprises, Pella Windows and Doors, and many more!
